To be admitted into the Bachelor of Technology programme, an applicant must have:        a. SSSCE/GBCE Candidates Passes (A-D) in Core Subjects plus Elective Mathematics and two (2) of the following; Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Engineering Science and Building Construction. b. WASSCE Candidates Passes (A1-C6) in Core Subjects plus a minimum of (C6) elective Mathematics and two (2) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Engineering Science and   Building Construction. c. • BSc degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering; or
• First degree in a relevant Engineering-related discipline.

Additionally, applicants must have at least two (2) years industrial or work experience and also must attend and pass a selection interview if degree is a second class lower or pass division OR Hold HND in either Civil or Chemical Engineering with six (6) years industrial experience and must pass a selection interview as well as six (6) months top-up course before admission into the MTech programme.
