NWU Business Administration Requirements

The requirements for undertaking the North-West University (NWU) Business Administration.

A business manager is responsible for the planning and organising of activities and people, as well as the leading and guidance of people.  Managers’ main tasks are problem-solving, to lead teams, to facilitate team processes and to regularly communicate with people.

The degree gives you access to a wide variety of career opportunities, as management principles are applied in all organisations.

BCom in Business Management

  • APS of 24
  • Mathematics Level 3 (40-49%)
  • Additional requirements may apply as per Faculty yearbook/calender

BAdmin in Public Administration

  • APS 21
  • Maths level 3 or Maths Literacy level 4
  • English Level 3

Extended Programme – BCom in Business Management

  • APS of 20
  • Maths level 3 (40% or more) / Maths Literacy level 4 (50% or more)
  • English level 3 (40% or more)
  • Additional requirements may apply as per Faculty yearbook/calender

Extended Programme – BAdmin Public Administration

  • APS 20
  • Maths level 3 (40% or more) or Maths Literacy 4 (50% or more)

BAdmin in Local Goverment Management

  • APS 21
  • Maths level 3 or Maths Literacy level 4
  • English Level 3

Extended Programme – Local Government (BAdmin)

  • APS 20
  • Maths level 3 (40% or more) or Maths Literacy 4 (50% or more)
