TUM Intake 2023 – Submit Application Form

Technical University of Mombasa

The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is currently receiving applications for the May 2024 intake. The Management appreciates students for their interest in the University.

Technical University of Mombasa has intakes each year in January, May and September.

Not all programmes admit students in all three intakes. Students will be informed of the date of the next intake for programmes.

The application is in two ways. TUM Intake application can be done either online or offline.

How to Apply Online

How to Apply using offline

i.All applicants for Certificate, Diploma and Undergraduate programmes must complete application form either electronically or in hard copy and submit to the Registrar Academic Affairs. The application form is available at the office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs)or on the University Website (www.tum.ac.ke).

ii.All applicants for Post graduate programmes must complete an application form either electronically or in hard copy and submit to the Director, School of Graduate Studies. The application form is available at the office of the Director, School of Graduate Studies or on the University Website (www.tum.ac.ke).

iii.All applications must be accompanied with relevant supporting documents and a non-refundable application fee as indicated on the form.

iv.The Registrar Academic Affairs will communicate the outcome of each application in writing to all applicants. Communication on outcome for postgraduate applications will be by the Director, School of Graduate Studies.

v.The applicant is responsible for the authenticity of any documents submitted for the purpose of securing admission. If the documents provided, prove fraudulent at any time, admission is nullified and/or certificates issued on the basis of such documents, are withdrawn, and cancelled.

Registration

All new students shall be registered upon fulfilling the following conditions:

i.Produce the official letter of offer to the officer concerned;

ii.Pay at least 50% of all the semester fees;

iii.Present original certificates and provide certified copies of certificates and testimonials;

iv.Present original certificates and provide certified copies of official identification

documents such as national identification cards for Kenyan students and certified copies of passports or other relevant documents for international students;

v.Sign students’ bond of good conduct and students’ declaration form of good conduct and discipline;

vi. Sign the nominal roll.

vii. Register for semester courses using the Student Management Information System (SMIS).

Mode Of Payment

2,500/= for PhD, Kshs. 1,500/= for Masters, Kshs. 1,000/- for Bachelor’s and Kshs. 500/- for Diploma & Certificates through the following Bank Accounts:

Please attach the Original bank slip when submitting application form during registration. All successful mid entry applicants shall be required to pay a mid-entry fee of Kshs. 15,000/=. Unsuccessful applications shall not be acknowledged.

You can apply for JKUAT Admission 2023 through KUCCPS intake service. The intake application is on the student portal. Click here to apply through KUCCPS (Note: it is going to require your KCSE index number and year).
