2021 UCT Virtual Open Day on 22 May 2021

31 August 2021: Applications for Admission and Housing close for Faculty of Health Sciences programmes

  • Applications close for ALL Faculty of Health Sciences applications.
  • Deadline for writing the Health Sciences National Benchmark Tests (NBTs)- 28 August 2021
  • Any applicants who write their NBT’s as late as the last 3 dates – 11 Sep, 18 Sep, 2 Oct – these applications will be assessed with the final NSC results in Jan/Feb 2022

31 August 2021: Deadline for Applicants to Request to Programme Choice

  • You may elect to apply for a different programme until the 31st August 2021.
  • You can do so by sending a request to admissions-ug@uct.ac.za or submitting a written request to the Central Admissions Office.

31 October 2021: Submission Deadline of Interim Results to Central Admissions

  • For applicants finishing secondary school in 2021: all grade 12 interim results or predicted scores in the case of non-NSC applicants are due.
  • For students currently studying at a tertiary institution: certified photocopied transcripts containing results for all years of study as well as 2021 interim results are due.
  • No emailed documents will be accepted.

31 October 2021: Submission Deadline International Undergraduate Applicants of results

15 November 2021: Deadline for Offers to International Undergraduate Applicants requiring a Study Visa.

  • Last date on which the Faculty of Health Sciences can make an offer to an international undergraduate applicant requiring a study visa.

31 December 2021: Submission Deadline of Final Transcripts and Non-NSC Results to Central Admissions

  • Non-NSC school leaving final results (except CIE, ZIMSEC and NSSC): must be submitted as certified paper documents.
  • For students currently studying at a tertiary institute: submission of final transcripts as certified paper documents.
  • No emailed documents will be accepted.

15 January 2022: Final Results from 2021 due

  • Final CIE, ZIMSEC and NSSC results from the November 2021 sessions are due.
  • Results need to be submitted as certified paper documents to Central Admissions.
