UDS Admission Form 2024/2025 Academic Session

UDS Admission portal 2023/2024 academic year is active. University for Development Studies (www.uds.edu.gh) undergraduate and postgraduate online admission form for 2023/2024 academic year will be available up until July 30, 2023.

 

UDS Admission Form

University for Development Studies (UDS) releases online application guidelines for submitting form for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year/session. UDS application process over the years, the process is similar to what you may have known before.

Applicants are required to read the specific University for Development Studies Departmental/programme admission requirements for 2023/2024 from the Admissions Brochure before completing the online application.

UDS admissions candidates are also expected to complete admission forms for any course before the 2024 / 2025 closing date. Check back here for important dates to late applications which may incur fees.

UNIVERSITY FOR DEVELOPMENT STUDIES ADMISSION FORM 2024/2025

2023/2024 Ghanaian admission candidates are required to use the UDS online application portal, start with these steps:

  1. Make a payment of GH¢ 200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for Undergraduate E-Voucher or GH¢ 250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis) for Postgraduate E-Voucher at any Stanbic Bank, GCB Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), National Investment Bank (NIB), Prudential Bank,  Zenith Bank and Ecobank branches throughout the country.OR
  2. Visit UDS online payment portal at www.pay.uds.edu.gh with a Master Card or Visa Card to make an online payment of GHC200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for the undergraduate e-Voucher or GHC250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis) for the postgraduate e-Voucher. Print the advice slip for future reference.
  3. The E-Voucher contains the PIN, and Serial Number required for the completion of the online form.
  4. Access the online form by visiting our online admissions portal at www.admissions.uds.edu.gh soon after payment.
  5. In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their most recent passport size photographs with white background and relevant certificates. Applicants who use objects instead of their own photographs would be disqualified.
  6. A completed form will not be considered for admission unless it is SUBMITTED after accepting our Data Confirmation Policy
  7. Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before finally submitting their online applications. A form, once submitted, can only be viewed, but cannot be edited.
  8. Candidates are strongly advised to visit any EMS Office in the Country for assistance towards the return of the application documents (see viii). Applicants are advised not to post the forms themselves. They should seek the advice and services of Ghana Post EMS.
  9. Undergraduate applicants must print out application summary; attach results slips, certificates and all other relevant documents. These documents should be submitted in triplicates (three copies each) to the Head (Academic Affairs Department).
  10. Postgraduate applicants must print out three copies of the application summaryattach results slipscertificates and all other relevant documents to each formThree reference letters are also required (at least, two of the referees should be familiar with applicants’ academic work).
  11. Applicants should also scan all the documents – signed copy of the application form, results slips, certificates, any valid national ID card and all supporting documents send to the following email address: admissions@uds.edu.gh.
    Note: 
    In the subject line of the Email, write only applicant’s full name and serial number in brackets. Eg. Abena Mansa (2200000)
  12. The application documents as specified in (vii) above should be addressed to:

Closing Date (Undergraduate)
Closing date for submission of applications is July 30, 2023.  Candidates should note that, no applications will be accepted after the closing date.

 

UDS Application Process for Foreigners

All non-Ghanaian applicants are advised to apply as follows:

  • Access the online form by visiting our admissions portal at www.admissions.uds.edu.gh.
  • In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their passport size photographs and certificates
  • A completed form is not considered until it is SUBMITTED
  • Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before they finally submit their online applications. A form, once submitted, can only be viewed, but cannot be edited.
  • Print out application summary; attach results slips, certificates and all other relevant documents. These documents should be submitted in triplicates (Three copies each) to the Head (Academic & Students’ Affairs).
