UFS Bachelor of Commerce extended curriculum program Requirements

The requirements for undertaking the University of the Free State (UFS) Bachelor of Commerce extended curriculum program.

The UFS extended degree programmes provide prospective students, who have UFS AP scores of 25 to 29 (a minimum of 30 is required for mainstream studies), and have National Senior Certificate (NSC) endorsement for higher education studies, the opportunity to enter degree studies. In the extended degree programmes, a typical mainstream degree’s first academic year is divided into two study years that contain additional development modules and serve the students through a student-centred teaching and learning experience.

Access South Campus is responsible for offering the following extended degree programmes on the UFS South Campus (click on the links below for more information):

B Agriculture Extended Programme (first and second study years)

BSc Agriculture Extended Programme (first and second study years)

BCom Extended Programme (first and second study years)

BAdmin Extended Programme (first and second study years)
