FAQ’S

 

1. How do I apply?
   Please send your application through to the Central Applications Office. You may access their website through here: www.cao.ac.za. Tel: 031 2684444

 

2. What are the Closing Dates for the College of Health Sciences?
   Please note that the Closing date for medicine is the 30^th June and for all other courses, the 30^th September

 

3. Will my application be accepted after the respective closing dates?
   No, we do not accept any late applications

 

4. What is the entrance qualification to apply to study at UKZN:
   – A National Senior Certificate for Degree studies (NSC-DEG) pass;
   – A minimum of seven subjects with at least four subjects (passed at Level 4) from the designated list),
   – English Home Language/ First Additional Language (passed at Level 4 minimum),
   – Life Orientation (passed at Level 4 minimum), and
   – Degree specific subjects and specific pass marks required in those subjects plus a minimum Academic Performance Score (APS). The calculation of points are shown below
