The Management of University of Eastern Africa (UEA) is currently receiving applications for 2022 January intake. Intakes usually run in January, May and September. The Management appreciates students for their interest in the University.

UEA usually has intakes each year in January, May and September.

Not all programmes admit students in all three intakes. Students will be informed of the date of the next intake for programmes.

University of Eastern Africa January 2023 intake Application Form

PhD, Graduate and PGDA Applicants:
  • Non-refundable Application Fee (KES. 2,500 or its USD equivalent, proof of payment required)
  • Complete and signed application form.
  • Copies of official degree certificate and transcripts for each college or professional school previously attended (originals to be brought for verification on the day of reporting to the university).
  • Originals and copies of all supportive academic documents
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae
  • Meet the University minimum entry requirement eligibility criteria
  • 3 References from your academic area, forms to be filled and sent the admissions office by the referees directly.

  • One recent passport size photograph (name of the student on reverse side)
  • Copy of the National Identity Card
  • Copy of Birth Certificate.
  • Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) Equation Certificate (required for all Foreign Qualifications) www.knqa.go.ke
Under graduate Applicants:
  • Non-refundable Application Fee (KES. 1,500 or its USD equivalent, proof of payment required)
  • Complete and signed application form.
  • Copies of all academic transcripts, diplomas or certificates (originals to be brought for verification on the day of reporting to the university)
  • School Leaving Certificate.
  • Meet the University minimum entry requirement criteria.
  • One recent passport size photograph (name of the student on reverse side)
  • Copy of the National Identity Card ( if qualifies for one)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate.
  • Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) Equation Certificate (required for all Foreign Qualifications) www.knqa.go.ke
Diploma/Certificate Applicants:
  • Non-refundable Application Fee (KES. 1,000 or its USD equivalent, proof of payment required)
  • Complete and signed application form.
  • Copies of all academic transcripts, diplomas or certificates (originals to be brought for verification on the day of reporting to the university)
  • School Leaving Certificate.
  • Meet the University minimum entry requirement criteria.
  • One recent passport size photograph (name of the student on reverse side)
  • Copy of the National Identity Card ( if qualifies for one)

The KUCCPS was established to coordinate the placement of Government-sponsored students to Kenyan universities and colleges; develop and implement career guidance programmes; disseminate information on available programmes; and collect and retain data relating to university and college placement, among other functions.
